# Before / After Diagnostic Checklist

## Before You Change Anything

- Save or duplicate the slicer profile.
- Photograph the failed print from top, side, and close detail.
- Write the visible symptom in plain words.
- Record material, nozzle size, plate, printer, slicer, and recent change.
- Pick the smallest test model that reproduces the issue.

## Change One Variable

- Setting changed:
- Old value:
- New value:
- Why this setting:
- What should improve if the diagnosis is right:

## After The Test

- Same model:
- Same material:
- Same plate area:
- Same lighting for comparison photo:
- Result: better / worse / same

## Next Branch

- If better: save the value, then verify on one normal part.
- If worse: restore the old value and move one step back.
- If same: stop tuning that setting and choose the next symptom branch.
